I have finally figured out what to write about for this English project we have this semester.. I am going to write about black history form the slavery started in the USA until today.

- How it was possible for Americans to vote for a black president, something that seemed unreal, for only a year ago!

I feel this project can go very far. I live in America and have for my whole life. And can tell you first hand what a historic memory has been created right on front of me. Hopefully your paper goes smoothly.

This is defenatly a good topic for just about anything. It does come as a shock to many people that we would elect a black president, but that doesn't really come as a shock to most of us as Americans. Obama was defenatly the best choice for president when it comes to political reasons but even beyond that, I think America was ready for a African American president. On any given day-even now that the election is over-you will see a handfull of people wearing shirts with Obama's face on them not to mention the dozens of cars with stickers supporting him. America has come a long way and there is so much you can put into your project with this subject. Good luck and maybe even have a little fun with it. This is one of my favorite topics to learn more about.
